Step into colonial history at the former home of the 'Out of Africa' author
Overview
Made famous by the hit movie 'Out of Africa' starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford, this plantation homestead is where that story began. Set at the foot of the Ngong Hills, this beautiful farmhouse was where Karen Blixen, the Danish author, lived between 1914 and 1931, establishing a coffee plantation and chronicling her time in colonial Africa.
